RESILIENCE: A Contemporary Dance Workshop

K Williams

Join us this August for RESILIENCE: a contemporary dance workshop. All levels welcome, ages 10-100.
August 15 - 19, 2022, noon - 2p.m. $225

SMAPA is thrilled to announce a new dance workshop this summer with Heather Robles. In this dance workshop, we will focus on:

  • -Honoring our personal story

  • -Sounding our inner landscape

  • -Fortifying deep listening and courage

  • -Locating innate resilience in our body and history

  • -Joy as resistance

All participants will have the opportunity to create and take home a resilience map at the end of the week. Nourish your body and spirit in this week of gentle, strengthening contemporary dance technique followed by guided choreographic and improvisational explorations of RESILIENCE.
